The complainant did <br />not answer but I was able to provide a voice mail in which I explained the reason <br />for me calling and provided my contact information. <br />04/05/2021 Complaint inspection. <br />Before attempting complaint inspection, I called complainant to obtain more <br />information in regards to the acrylic nail found (color and sizing of nail), however <br />the complainant was unable to answer and a voice mail was provided. I visited the <br />facility in question and spoke with the operator in regards to the complaint. The <br />owner stated that a customer returned with a burger and inside of the burger was <br />a red acrylic nail, in which the customer stated they wanted a refund for their meal. <br />The owner continued by explaining that no one on site contains red acrylic nails <br />but would have no problem issuing a full refund for the meal. On site I observed <br />two staff preparing food with no acrylic nails on and a cashier with lime green <br />acrylic nails and currently missing three nails. However according to the owner, <br />the acrylic nail observed inside of the hamburger was red. I explained that gloves <br />must be worn by staff with acrylic nails and only staff with a food certification can <br />be preparing food on site. <br />Official inspection report mailed to facility. <br />Official inspection report discussed with Maribel Barba, signature not obtained at <br />this time. <br />ACEVEDO <br />5105.rpt Page 1 of 1
