VENTURAAVE <br />Activity Date <br />Activity Summary <br />Recorded by <br />03/09/2021 Received a call from SJC public works, Dawn. Stated that Troy Botts, Public GAITAN <br />Works, went out to the site and found the Hazardous waste on Ventura Ave. Not <br />Scott's ave. <br />She also stated that it is on City Jurisdiction. Dawn stated that she will notify the <br />City of Stockton. <br />Discussed complaint with Elena Manzo 'Lead Senior REHSI. Based on discussion <br />I left to go observe release. <br />I observed the following on Ventura Ave: <br />-Approximately fifteen 5-gallon containers with acetone labels. Some empty, did <br />not verify if the remaining containers contained liquid. <br />-Approximately four 3 gallon containers with motor oil labels. Did not verify if <br />containers were full. <br />-Approximately one 1-gallon container with motor oil labels. Did not verify if <br />containers contained used oil. <br />approximately 50 feet north on Ventura Ave. I observed the following: <br />-One 5-gallon container with unknown contents. <br />-Approximately four 1-gallon containers with motor oil labels. <br />Did not verify if containers contained any liquids. <br />I observed no signs of release on road or soil. <br />Contacted Elena, discussed complaint and updates. Based on discussion, I <br />contacted City of Stockton Public Works. Left a voice mail. <br />Discussed with Garrett Backus 'Lead Senior REHSI if hazardous waste observed <br />was on County or City Jurisdiction. <br />03/09/2021 Received call from City of Stockton Public Works Corpyard. (209) 937-9341 GAITAN <br />Gave them the location of the containers. She stated they would be sending <br />someone to pick up the containers. <br />Updated Elena Manzo 'Lead Senior REHSI. <br />03/09/2021 Contacted City of Stockton Corpyard. Spoke to Jose, Supervisor for PW. Stated <br />that they are waiting for Stockton Fire Department to verify the contents inside the <br />containers. He stated if they confirm containers to have oil or to be empty they <br />would be taking the waste to there corpyard located on 1465 S. Lincoln Street <br />GAITAN <br />03/09/2021 Contacted City of Stockton PW, left a voicemail. GAITAN <br />Contacted Elena and discussed complaint, based on discussion I left to go verify <br />if containers were removed. <br />I observed no containers at the site and observed no signs of a hazardous waste <br />release. <br />Updated Elena. <br />03/10/2021 Contacted Jose, supervisor for City of Stockton. GAITAN <br />Stated that waste was picked up and taken back to 1465 S. Lincoln St., Stockton. <br />Generated two 55-gallon containers with used oil. Facility has a HW permit. <br />Contacted Elena Manzo Lead senior REHSI. <br />03/12/2021 Generated site maps, complaint investigation report, complaint summary report, <br />dailies, emergency record, confidential list, emails.
