LATHROP RD , LATHROP , CA 95330 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department ( EHD) has completed the review of the <br /> application for a permit to replace the direct- bury diesel spill container on the underground storage <br /> tank ( UST) system at the above noted address . The permit has been approved with the following <br /> conditions : <br /> 1 . Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for <br /> any applicable permits and requirements . <br /> 2 . Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work . All new addenda supersede the previous ones . <br /> 3 . Provide written notification to ust .. sigov . orq to arrange the following inspection appointments <br /> ( a 48 - hour notice is required for inspection appointments ) . <br /> a . Corrosion protection : Verify corrosion protection for direct bury spill bucket prior to <br /> backfilling . <br /> b . Spill bucket test : Verify minimum 5 - gallon capacity and pass a one hour hydrostatic test ( or <br /> equivalent) , after concrete is set . Proper drainage must also be verified . <br /> c . Since concrete will be broken near the diesel tank , a secondary containment test must be <br /> performed on the diesel tank once concrete is poured in accordance with the <br /> manufacturer' s guidelines . <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot receive fuel in the diesel tank prior to the EHD <br /> inspection and approval . <br /> 4 . Any individual performing the work of a service technician must meet the following <br /> qualifications : <br /> a . Possess or be employed by a person who possesses one of several permissible valid , <br /> current contractor' s licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board ( may be issued <br /> to the installation company) , or a Tank Tester' s license issued to the individual by the State <br /> Water Board <br /> b . Possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically <br /> present at the work site who possesses a valid , current California UST Service Technician <br /> certificate issued by the International Code Council ( ICC ) <br /> c . Possesses a valid , current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the <br /> component(s) being tested , repaired , or serviced <br /> 1868 E .
