All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pool light not working. Repair light, and post "No Swimming After Dark" sign until light can be repaired in <br />1 day. This is a repeat. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br />pool. When a pool is used at night, pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br />not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4 -inch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK"and shall <br />secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (31158) <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine 11.8 ppm. Provide between 2 to 10 ppm free chlorine (with CYA, or 1 to 10 ppm without <br />CYA) in 1 day. This is a repeat. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open orin use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br />maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br />cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations. 3.0 ppm to 10.0 <br />ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: CYA >100 ppm. Drain or treat pool with commercial products (recommended due to drought) to reduce <br />CYA to below 100 ppm. This is a repeat. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION. Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) <br />#22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Missing O-ring on north skimmer. Provide. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
