All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Diarrhea sign is not location at the entrance area of a pool. The pool operator shall post at the entrance <br />area of a public pool, which clearly states that persons with diarrhea and persons who have had diarrhea within the prior 14 <br />days shall not enter the pool water. Correct in a week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operatorshall keep safetysigns well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, orsimilar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br />#11 Combined Chlorine Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: Combined Chlorine Concentration was measured at 0.6. Maintain Combined Chlorine level at below 0.4. <br />Correct before opening. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain combined chlorine concentration below 0.4 ppm. (CCR 65530) Chemical quality <br />of pool water and indoor air quality at the pool site shall not cause adverse physiological effects, such as irritation of the eyes, lungs, or <br />skin. (CCR 65531) <br />#14 Chemical Water Test Kit <br />OBSERVATIONS: Chemical Water Test Kit was not available on site at the time of inspections. Keep a Chemical Water <br />Test Kit on site. Correct in one week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain a test kit for measuring the disinfectant residual, combined chlorine, pH, and <br />cyanuric acid (if used) at the pool. Test kit shall be available at all times the pool is in use. Chlorine and bromine test kits shall be DPD <br />type.
