All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Chlorine is at 37ppm. Provide below 10ppm. Spa is closed. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open orin use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br />maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br />cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 <br />ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#8 Pool and Deck Lighting , <br />OBSERVATIONS: Spa light is inoperative. Provide operative with functional GFI. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br />pool. When a pool is used at night, pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br />not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4 -inch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK"and shall <br />secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (3115B) <br />#11 Combined Chlorine Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: Cyanuric acid is greater than 100ppm. Provide at 100ppm or less. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool operatorshall maintain combined chlorine concentration below 0.4 ppm. (CCR 65530) Chemical quality <br />of pool water and indoor air quality at the pool site shall not cause adverse physiological effects, such as irritation of the eyes, lungs, or <br />skin. (CCR 65531) <br />#22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Float valve assembly and wier are lacking from skimmer. Provide. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
