ACEVEDO <br />Upon arrival, I spoke with the operator on site and associate who stated they <br />recall the incident of the complaint. They stated that the customer ordered a <br />chicken and bacon sandwich that was toasted with avocados. The customer had <br />returned to the facility after two hours and stated that there was blood inside of <br />their sandwich. The associate that prepared the sandwich was checked for any <br />cuts or abrasions, in which none were observed. The operator stated that the <br />customer was given a full refund but the customer was still aggressive and not <br />satisfied with the refund. The operator stated that no changes have been made to <br />the food distributor, all deli meat is precooked and is monitored while it is being <br />stored inside of the preparation cooler. All staff are trained to attend to all cuts or <br />abrasions that may occur while on the preparation line. While on site, observed <br />the chicken used in the sandwich in question, is stored near the teriyaki chicken <br />with sauce that is darker in color, but does not appear as red or resemble blood. <br />Official inspection report emailed to puneetkdhillon2018@gmail.com. <br />Official inspection report discussed with Puneet Dhillon, signature not obtained at <br />this time. <br />03/16/2021 Called complainant with the number provided on the complaint.
