Upon completion of construction, excess soil will <br />be spread on the cropland. The soil will be leveled in the area surrounding the <br />slaughterhouse and over the septic tank and leachfield. <br />B. Air. Will the proposal result in: <br />I. Substantial emissions or deterioration of <br />ambient air quality? <br />The creation of objectionable odors? <br />Substantial alteration of air movement, <br />moisture, or temperature, or any change in <br />climate, either locally or regionally? <br />The increases in swine processing are not anticipated to produce objectionable odors. <br />The slaughtering process produces little odor and will be conducted indoors. <br />C. Water. Will the proposal result in: <br />Any changes in the course or direction or rate <br />of water movement of fresh waters? <br />Significant changes in absorption rates, <br />drainage patterns, or the rate and amount of <br />surface runoff? <br />Substantial alterations to the course of low <br />flood waters? <br />Any change in the amount of surface water in <br />any water body? <br />Any discharge into surface waters, or any <br />alteration of surface water quality, including <br />but not limited to temperature, dissolved <br />oxygen or turbidity. <br />Any alteration of the direction or rate of flow <br />of ground waters. <br />VI <br />VI <br />VI <br />VI <br />VI
