EXHIBIT D <br />INITIALLY PROPOSED ACTIONS AND PROJECTS <br />PROPOSED PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS <br />The following actions and projects are an initial compilation of proposed programs and projects <br />that the Agency may undertake to achieve the goals and objectives of the Redevelopment Plan. <br />These programs and projects are not listed in order of priority and may change from time to time. <br />Elimination of Blight <br />Removal of substandard buildings <br />Rehabilitation and modernization of structures <br />Public Improvements and Facilities <br />Fund and install sewer, water, storm drainage system and other public improvements <br />Improve the circulation system and roadways — this may include, but not be limited to, <br />the realigning, closing, widening, installing or other modifications to some roadways; <br />constructing new roads; improving traffic control systems; and installing turning lanes <br />Install street lights; landscaping, including median and edge landscaping; signs and <br />signals; and parking facilities <br />Install transit improvements <br />Construct curbs, gutters, and sidewalks in appropriate areas <br />Provide capital improvements and equipment for public safety needs <br />Revitalization of Industrial Development <br />Provide financial incentives to industrial uses locating in the area <br />Assist in assembling sites that will meet the needs of industrial and appropriate <br />commercial uses <br />Assist in site preparation <br />Assist in the relocation of non-conforming or incompatible uses <br />201\45\166562.4 D-1
