GROUND WATER INVESTIGATION WORK PLAN <br />BULK TERMINALS SITE, PORT OF STOCKTON, STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br />3.2.2.3 Survey Well Locations <br />A licensed surveyor will vertically locate the newly installed monitor well relative to mean sea <br />level (msl), to within 0.01 feet, and horizontally within the NAD 23 coordinate system. The <br />elevation of the adjacent ground surface will be surveyed to within 0.1 feet msl. <br />3.2.3 Task 7— Quarterly Ground Water Monitoring <br />Ground water monitoring will be performed quarterly in the five newly installed and four <br />existing monitor wells at the site. One complete round of ground water monitoring will be <br />performed prior to issuance of the Technical Report described in Task 8. The following <br />describes the procedures to be performed. <br />3.2.3.1 Ground Water Sampling <br />Ground water sampling, decontamination, and waste handling procedures will be carried out <br />as described for existing monitor well sampling, above (section 3.1.2.7). <br />3.2.3.2 Ground Water Sample Analysis <br />All water samples will be analyzed for the following constituents: <br />pH and electrical conductivity will be measured in the field <br />Dissolved inorganics Cu, Ni, and V by EPA Method 6010 <br />Total Sulfur and sulfate by EPA Method 300. <br />Water samples from monitor wells MW-4, MW-5, MW-6 and MW-9 will be analyzed for the <br />following additional constituents: <br />Total Extractable Hydrocarbons by EPA Method 8015M with silica gel treatment <br />BTEX by EPA Method 8020 <br />PAHs by EPA Method 8270 <br />3.2.4 Task 8 — Technical Report <br />The final technical report (Report) will be submitted within eight weeks following receipt of all <br />analytical data. <br />July 2005 Page 17 Environmental Risk Services Corp.
