Although testing of deeper soil
along the conveyors was limited, copper was not detected above the STLC in any of the samples collected
from the capillary fringe.
Elevated levels of lead were detected in the near surface soils in the area of the adjoining
conveyot• e dockside boom tower. Lead was not detected above the STLC in near surface soils
at any other location or in any samples collected from the capillary fringe.
4.1.2 Chlorinated Pesticides and PCBs
Chlorinated Pesticides and PCBs were not detected in any of the samples analyzed.
Comprehensive laboratory analytical data reports are included in Appendix B.
4.1.3 Oreanophosphate Pesticides
Organophosphate Pesticides were not detected in any of the samples analyzed. Comprehensive
laboratory analytical data reports are included in Appendix B.
4.1.4 Total Recoverable Petroleum Hydrocarbons
Total Recoverable Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TRPH) were detected in 11 of 14 soil samples
analyzed, and are presented in Table 2. Comprehensive laboratory analytical data reports are included
in Appendix B.
SAC28.013
10
December 20, 1991
DAMES Si. MOORE
