Sulfates - EPA 300; and
Sulfides - EPA 376.2.
4.3.1 CAM Metals
Groundwater analysis was conducted for the same 17 CAM Metals identified in Section 3.1.1.
Groundwater samples collected for analysis were filtered in the field to remove particulate matter to
assure that groundwater being analyzed is representative of metal concentrations that are soluble in
groundwater. The regulatory criteria applied to groundwater analytical results is the DTSC Maximum
Contaminant Level (MCL) (26 CCR, 64435).
Only one metal was detected above the MCL in groundwater samples collected from Parcel HI.
Arsenic was detected at concentrations of 130p.g/L and 60 pg/L in MW-1 and MW-4 respectively.
Arsenic was also detected at 60 AgIL in MW-00, a duplicate sample of MW4. The concentration
detected in MW-4 is not elevated significantly above the MCL of 50 pg/L for arsenic. However, the
concentration in MW-1 is more than twice the MCL. These detections of arsenic should be confirmed
by resampling. Comprehensive laboratory analytical data reports are included in Appendix B.
4.3.2 Chlorinated Pesticides and PCBs
Chlorinated Pesticides and PCBs were not detected in groundwater samples collected from MW-1
and MW-4. Comprehensive laboratory analytical data reports are included in Appendix B.
4.3.3 Organophosphate Pesticides
No Organophosphate Pesticides were detected in groundwater samples collected from MW-1 and
MW-4. Comprehensive laboratory analytical data reports are included in Appendix B.
4.3.4 Total Recoverable Petroleum Hydrocarbons
TRPH was not detected in groundwater samples collected from MW-1 and MW-4.
4.3.5 Purgeable Halocarbons
Purgeable Halocarbons were not detected in groundwater samples collected from MW-1 and
MW-4. Comprehensive laboratory analytical data reports are included in Appendix B.
SAC28.013
17
December 20, 1991
