FINAL REPORT <br />PRELIMINARY SITE ASSESSMENT <br />AUDIT AREA III - PORT OF STOCKTON <br />FOR METROPOLITAN STEVEDORE <br />1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />Dames & Moore is pleased to present the results of the Preliminary Site Assessment (PSA) <br />undertaken on behalf of Metropolitan Stevedore for land located at the Port of Stockton north of the <br />intersection of Washington Street and Stork Road, as generally shown on Plate 1. More specifically, this <br />report addresses "Audit Area III," a parcel that is outlined in Plate 2. For reporting purposes, the entire <br />project area shown on Plate 1 will be addressed as the site." Information specific to Audit Area III will <br />be referred to as such. <br />It is our understanding that Metropolitan Stevedore has leased this parcel from the Port of <br />Stockton since approximately 1981 and that Metropolitan subleases the parcel to Delta Bulk Terminals <br />who operate a petroleum coke, coal and copper concentrate distribution facility. This assessment was <br />performed in accordance with our proposal to Metropolitan Stevedore dated December 20, 1990 and <br />under the terms and conditions stated therein. <br />PSA04.007 1
