I- <br />flvQ F''IkLL3 11,0i Le- c_to <br />RE: REQUIRED WATER SAMPLING 41/0-ksif-tir- <br />A representative from the San Joaquin County Public Health Services recently evaluated your <br />drinking water system which has been classified as a public water system. <br />In order to insure that your consumers receive water of a satisfactory quality for drinking <br />purposes, you will be required to perform the following bacteriological and chemical sampling <br />per Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations, Article 3, Section 64421 and Article 4, <br />Section 64433. <br />BACTERIOLOGICAL SAMPLING: <br />MONTHLY ---- Small Community Water System (under 200 service connections) <br /> QUARTERLY -- Non Community Water System/Non-Transient Non- Community <br />ANNUALLY --- State Small Water System <br />CIIEMICAL SAMPLING (General Mineral, General Physical, Inorganic, and Organic*): <br />EVERY THREE YEARS --- Small Community Water System/Non-Transient <br />Non-Community, (*Systems deemed vulnerable every two years). <br />CHEMICAL SAMPLING (General Mineral, Nitrates and Fluoride): <br /> ONCE, THEREAFTER AS REQUIRED BY HEALTH OFFICER --- Non <br />Community/State Small Water System <br />RADIOLOGICAL SAMPLING: <br />EVERY FOUR YEARS --- Small Community Water System (analysis based on four <br />consecutive quarterly samples.) <br />A DIviglon of San Joacioin County Itealth Care Service-3 10
