Soil samples will also be collected from each of the borings for <br />semi-volatile organic compounds and held, pending the results of the EFH analysis. <br />If ground water is encountered in a soil boring, a sample of the ground water will be collected and submitted for <br />analysis of VOCs by EPA Method 8260, dissolved nitrate and nitrite by EPA method 300.0, ammonia by EPA <br />method 350.1, and EFH, GRO, and DRO by EPA method 8015. Ground water from up to three of the soil <br />borings will also be submitted for analysis of chlorinated herbicides by EPA method 8151 and organochlorine <br />pesticides by EPA method 8081. <br />The field screening results, soil lithology, and sample interval information for each soil boring will be recorded <br />and included on individual soil boring logs.
