COMMUNICATION PROCEDURES <br />If hearing is impaired, the following standard hand signals will be used: <br />Hand gripping throat: Out of air; can not breath <br />Grip partner's wrist or both hands around waist: Leave area immediately <br />Hands on top of head: Need assistance <br />Thumbs up: OK; I am alright; I understand <br />Thumbs down: No; negative <br />8.0. EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE <br />St. Joseph's Medical Center located at 1800 North California Street and is approximately 10 to 15 <br />minutes from the site. Route to the hospital: From the site, west on Waterloo Road to Harding <br />Way, approximately 1 mile; continue west on Harding Way for approximately 1 mile to California <br />Street; north on California Street for approximately 0.5 miles, Hospital is at corner of North <br />California Street and Chestnut (on the east side of California Street).
