<br />1.0 HEALTH AND SAFETY PROGRAM <br />Geo-Phase Environmental Inc. has incorporated the following health and safety precautions while working on <br />sites containing unidentified hazardous waste. Once the nature and extent of contamination has been <br />determined, additional work on site will be met with the proper precautions. <br /> <br />1.1 Workers Health and Safety <br />1.1.1 Work Space Safety <br />The perimeter of the work space should, if possible, be 20 feet from the drilling rig or excavation site. All work <br />performed in publicly accessible areas will have a working perimeter to be marked by brightly colored <br />delineators. No unauthorized personnel will not be allowed access into the work space. <br />The project supervisor will coordinate all field activities and maintain the safest possible working environment <br />at all times. If an emergency occurs, the supervisor will immediately contact the proper authorities. <br />1.1.2 Skin and Head Protection <br />Disposable suits, boots, and gloves will be worn when the working conditions require such precautions. <br />Disposable plastic gloves will be worn at all times during soil and groundwater sampling.
