ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF SAMPLES
TRPH and Zn were detected in the sample collected at concentrations of 24 milligrams per liter
(mg/1) and 1.9 mg/1, respectively.
Various VOCs were detected in the sample collected at the following concentrations: 2,000 1.1g/1
toluene, 2,500 µg/1 ethylbenzene, 26,000 p.g/1 m,p-xylene, 2,600 jig,/1 o-xylene, 150 jig/1
isopropylbenzene, 260 i.ig/1 n-propylbenzene, 890 ps/1 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene, 960 µg/1 1,2,4-
trimethylbenzene, 720 p.g/lp-isopropyltoluene.
No other analytes were detected at or above laboratory detection limits in the samples analyzed. The
laboratory report (CTEL Project. No. C T214-06040041), quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC)
report, and chain of custody form are included in Appendix B.
2.3. ADDITIONAL SITE INVESTIGATION
SJCEHD has implemented UIC at the site by letter dated 19 April 2006. Based on the previous
analytical results, further investigation of the septic system is to be performed to evaluate the
potential threat to drinking water. SJCEHD directive letter is provided in Appendix A.
3.0. SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of work includes the treatment and proper disposal of contaminated septic waste, septic
tank cleaning and inspection, and advancement of two soil borings for the collection and analysis
of soil samples. Upon completion of the proposed work, a report will be prepared and reviewed by
a California Registered Geologist. The scope of work will include the following tasks:
Septic tank contents treatment and disposal;
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
