HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN <br />9. MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE REQUIREMENTS <br />BC Site personnel, including subcontractors and site visitors, who will or may work in an area <br />designated as an exclusion zone must have fulfilled the appropriate medical monitoring requirements <br />in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120(f). Each individual entering an exclusion zone must have <br />successfully completed an annual surveillance examination and/or an initial baseline examination <br />within the last 12 months. <br />Medical surveillance is conducted as a routine program for BC field staff in accordance with the <br />requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(f). There will not be any special medical tests or examinations <br />required for staff involved in this project. <br />9-1
