Happrit S. Maftu [EH]
From: William Little<wlittle@advgeoenv,^om>
Sent: Tuesday, May 05, 2015 4:15 PM
To: Harprit S. Mattu [EH]
Subject: FW: 500 East Louise Avenue
Attachments: 1504123.PDF; 1504124.PDF; Former PNA-Lathrop Trenching Plan 042015.pdf
Mr. McCellon:
AGE has received the soil sample analytical data from the trenches and soil piles from the SWIS site
at 500 East Louise Avenue in Lathrop.
Attached is the site plan and raw analytical data from the investigation. As noted most every trench (T
samples) were analyzed for metals, most for pH and others for VOC and other chemicals. No much of
any were detected. The soil piles samples (S samples) were also analyzed at your offices request.
Most soil piles were non detected for VOC and other chemicals. One location did have elevated
metals, however this set of piles would be profiled for local disposal at Forward Landfill. Map of the
trenches attached.
Minor volumes of debris were observed in the trench section, typically at depths of four feet or three
feet, with a thickness horizon of less than six to eight inches. AGE found no big items or locations
without the presents of a native soil base under the spilled glass waste. Glass was the majority of the
waste, with some bit or strings of plastic excavated. This section is what was observed in the
Geoprobe soil boring logs (photo attached next email).
AGE plans to backfill the excavation with a soil mix borrowed from the field east of the former SWIS
area. I will inform your office.
Additionally the soil will piled and profiled for disposal/landfill.
William Little
California Professional Geologist#7473
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
Environmental - Industrial Hygiene - Geotechnical - Contracting
Phone: 800-511-9300
Fax: 888-445-8786
wlittleCa)-advgeoenv.com
www.advgeoenv.com
This email/fax message is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential
and privileged information.
