This Order requires Best Management Practices for areas of 1 -acre
or more disturbed property ( such as trenches and pits) for groundwater protection. AGE plans to install a minor plastic barrier on the excavation wall
and place soil against the neighbor's property. AGE will start placing the plastic sheeting along the
waste remaining and then backfilling soil Tuesday (off Wednesday with rain) and be done by
Thursday/Friday. AGE plans to use the fine grain soil imported to start stabilizing the excavation. The
analytical analysis is attached. More fill will be imported for the final compaction filling.
The SJCO EHD local oversight has allowed for AGE to perform the backfilling under their oversight
and also has requested the Regional Board approval or provide concurrence to start the backfill the
excavation. Please provide a return email regarding backfilling.
