One for the Bird Rd address to refer the Lifeline herbicide to the Ag Comm. Office (2546) since
it's a restricted pesticide (assign to Claudia). A second (assign to Elianna) for the Lorraine address (2200 PE) to do a HW
inspection with Jim M.
Recommend that the tenant get medical attention about the exposure. Also provide the HHW brochure for disposal of
the waste (attached) (maybe the Bird Rd complaint person can handle this)
Garrett
From: Suszycki, Michael [EHD] <msuszycki@sjgov.org>
Sent: Thursday, April 1, 2021 1:36 PM
To: Nissim, Melissa [EHD] <mnissim@sjgov.org>; Backus, Garrett [EHD] <gbackus@sigov.org>
Cc: Sangalang, Scott [EHD] <ssangalang@sjgov.org>
Subject: Hazardous?
Hello,
I went out on team this morning to 25526 S. Bird Rd., Tracy. The tenants were nice, reason it was on team was possible
drug activity. The tenants told me that a few times they have had people dump random chemicals on to the property.
The female tenant told me that some were dumped just the other day and when she picked it up to remove it, some got
on her arm and started to burn it. I attached a picture of the chemical. The bottle says herbicide and its pink in color.
There was also a drum with some liquid in it that was allegedly dumped as well. Do you think I should put in a complaint
and what should I tell the tenants?
Thank you,
Michael Suszycki,
Registered Environmental Health Specialist
(209) 468-3420
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
1868 E.
