COMPLAINANT ORDERED A FRIED CHICKEN <br /> SANDWICH MEAL.WHEN COMPLAINANT BEGAN EATING SANDWICH AND REALIZED THAT IT WAS COMPLETELY <br /> RAW AND UNCOOKED UNDERNEATH THE BATTERED FRIED EXTERIOR. COMPLAINANT TOOK TWO BITES AND <br /> NOTICED THE ODD FLAVOR AND TEXTURE. COMPLAINANT IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED THE RESTAURANT VIA <br /> PHONE AND EXPLAINED THE SITUATION. THE EMPLOYEE ON THE PHONE APOLOGIZED AND STATED THEY <br /> WOULD SPEAK WITH THE COOKS. COMPLAINANT HAS NOT BECOME ILL SINCE CONSUMING THE FOOD. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> I spoke tot he Person In Charge who was not aware of the compliant prior to this investigation. <br /> The chicken sandwich comes to the facility frozen and are deep fried in for 6 minutes and then an additional minute is added <br /> to the fry time given a total of <br /> 7(seven)minutes. <br /> I observed employee prepare chicken sandwich. Two frozen chicken sandwich patties were placed in the deep fryer and <br /> timer was set for 3 minutes. When <br /> timer"beeped'and 3 minute elapsed the timer was set again for another 3 minutes.
