Kleinfelder, Inc. prepared the <br /> Construction Quality Assurance Plan for final cover placement at <br /> the Harney Lane Sanitary Landfill. <br /> Since May 11, 1992, Kleinfelder has had telephone conversations <br /> with the CRWQCB to discuss their concerns. Based on these <br /> discussions, the CRWQCB requested some additional soils testing to <br /> verify that the proposed final cover design and placement <br /> procedures are adequate. Kleinfelder is in the process of <br /> performing the additional testing, and it is expected that the <br /> results will be known by mid-July. <br /> As a result of the additional soils testing, we have postponed the <br /> submittal of a revised Closure Plan. The County will respond to <br />
