This application request would extend the life of the quarry permit an additional 23 years, with final reclamation to be completed by 2054. No increase in tonnage, phasing or changes to the final reclamation are proposed with this application. All other Conditions of Approval will remain the same. The project site is not under a Williamson Act Contract. The Property is zoned AG-40 (General Agriculture, 40-acre minimum) and the General Plan designation is A/G (General Agriculture). PROJECT LOCATION:The project site is located on the west side of Henry Rd., approximately 500 feet south of Hall Ave., southeast of Escalon. (APN/Address: 249-050-17/22469 S. Henry Rd., Escalon)(Supervisorial District: 4) ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: This project as described is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) and Section 15301, Class 1., and a Notice of Exemption will be filed if the project is approved. APPLICATION REVIEW: Recommendations and/or comments on this project must be submitted to the Community Development Department no later than July 21, 2021. Recommendations and/or comments received after that date may not be considered in staff's analysis and/or recommendation to the San Joaquin County Planning Commission for this application. NOTE TO SURROUNDING PROPERTY OWNERS: This project will be scheduled for a San Joaquin County Planning Commission hearing.
