AP violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pass an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to Califomia Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Address sign and capacity sign are fading. Provide signs today. Corrected on site. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole, gate,or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br /> #S Pool and Deck Lighting <br /> OBSERVATIONS:light power is disconnected permanently. Post"No swimming after dark"sign in 2 days. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br /> pool. When a pool is used at night,pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br /> not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating"NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK"and shall <br /> secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (3115B) <br /> #9 Ladders and Handrails <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Pool ladder is loose. Repair in 2 days. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:A means of entry and exit shall be provided at both the shallow and deep end of the pool. Ladders and <br /> handrails shall be corrosion resistant and shall be rigidly installed.At least one handrail shall extend from the deck to not less than a point <br /> above the top of the lowest step. Handrails shall be installed between 28 to 36 inches above the steps and deck. (CBC 3111B)Pool <br /> operator shall keep ladders and handrails well maintained- (CCR 65535) <br /> #15 Operation Records <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Log activity is not available on site. Provide log. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall test the disinfectant residual,pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. <br /> Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br /> necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm. Pool operator shall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results <br /> for at least two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request.
