All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Attach a rope the width of the poll in length. Correct prior to using the pool. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained,readily visible,and available for use.Pools shall have at <br /> minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br /> rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br /> (CCR 65540) <br /> #5 Restrooms and Showers <br /> OBSERVATIONS:There is debris on the showers floor. Clean prior to using the pool. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall ensure the following facilities are maintained and kept clean:showers, toilets, dressing <br /> facilities, drinking fountains,diaper-changing stations, floors, walls,partitions, doors,and lockers. Showers(except outside)shall be <br /> provided with soap in dispensers. Toilet facilities shall be provided with toilet tissue,hand soap, and paper towels or hot air blowers in <br /> permanently installed dispensers.Pool operator shall provide a minimum of one waste receptacle in each toilet facility. Wooden slats, <br /> duckboards and footbaths are prohibited. (CCR 65535, 65551)Showers and lavatories shall be provided with hot and cold water faucets. <br /> Maximum water temperature at showers and lavatories shall not exceed 110`F. (CBC 31168) <br /> #13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Cyanuric acid is at 100 ppm.Adjust and maintain bellow 100 ppm prior to using the pool. Ideal 30 ppm to <br /> 50 ppm. Test monthly. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) <br /> #35 Flow Meters <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The flow meters has calcium like deposit on it and it is not able be read. Clean/repair by today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Flow meters shall be provided on each recirculation system and shall be installed in accordance with <br /> manufacturer's specifications.
