No doubt you are busy with other matters at the present <br /> time. However, we are concerned about Victor's intent to comply with Waste <br /> Discharge Requirements Order No. 90-047 and Cease and Desist Order No. 88-191 <br /> and the status of Victor's ongoing project to clean up ground water and close <br /> its surface impoundments. We request that you inform the Regional Board of <br /> Victor's intentions regarding the ongoing discharges and monitoring as well as <br /> the cleanup and closure operations. <br /> Since we do not want to delay the cleanup and closure operation, we have <br /> reviewed the 28 October 1991 Closure Plan for Pond 2 and the August 1990 <br /> Preliminary Closure and Post Closure Maintenance Plan for Pond 1 .
