CLEANUP AND ABATEMENT ORDER -6- <br /> GOEHRING MEAT, INC. <br /> NEWCO ACQUISITION SUB, INC. <br /> GOLDEN GATE FRESH FOODS, INC. <br /> dba VICTOR FINE FOODS <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT, pursuant to Section 13304(a) of the California <br /> Water Code, Goehring Meat, Inc. , Newco Acquisition Sub, Inc. , and Golden <br /> Gate Fresh Foods, Inc. , dba Victor Fine Foods shall : <br /> Comply with the following actions and time schedule: <br /> Compliance <br /> Action Date <br /> Monitoring and Reporting: <br /> 1. Begin monitoring of ground water in 1 June 1992 <br /> accordance with Cease and Desist Order No. <br /> 88-191 and Revised Monitoring and Reporting <br /> Program No. 90-047. <br /> 2. Submit progress reports starting 1 June 1 June 1992 <br /> 1992 and monthly thereafter, describing <br /> actions taken to comply with the time <br /> schedule listed in this Order. <br /> 3. Complete a capture analysis to determine 1 July 1992 <br /> the ability of the existing extraction well <br /> system to control the salt plume in ground <br /> water and submit a technical report that <br /> summarizes the results and, if necessary, <br /> includes a time schedule for completion of <br /> any actions required to control the salt <br /> plume. <br /> 4. Complete an investigation and submit a 1 August 1992 <br /> technical report that summarizes and <br /> presents the results from the investigation <br /> to define the horizontal and vertical <br /> extent of pollution caused by wastewater <br /> disposal activities. <br /> Financial Assurance: <br /> 5. Submit a legally binding financial 1 June 1992 <br /> assurance package in accordance with <br /> Section 2550.0(b) of Chapter 15 which will <br /> ensure that the above items, and all other <br /> items required by existing orders and the <br /> California Water Code, are completed. <br />
