The shelter for the dogs should be constructed in such a manner as to <br /> be easily accessible for cleaning and servicing. <br /> 2. Interior walls of the shelter and associated maintenance roor^ should <br /> be easily cleanable finish, preferably of painted plaster or concrete. <br /> 3. The shelter floor and the immediate feeding area within pens or cdof- <br /> runs shall be of si-:ooth concrete, coved on edges and graded toward a floor <br /> drain,leading to le,-al sewage d#)osa.l facilities. <br /> 4. The remainder of each pen or dog run may be smooth earthpack, perferably <br /> covered with pea gravel to a depth of three inches. <br /> 5• A convenient water supply and legal waste water dicposal facilities shall <br /> be available for washing; food preparation equirment , bathin- of animals, as <br /> well as washing down shelters and pedis or dog runs. <br /> 6. Animal food will be stored and fed in a manner which will not attract <br /> or serve as harborage or brecding site-for flies or rodents. <br /> 7 Applicant shall demonstrate to the. satisfcction of the Health District <br /> that he I_as appropriate facilities and means for daily cleaning and disposal <br /> of doer droppings from pens or shelter without creating; a nuisance.
