Wilson Way SITE COPSE: 91911
Stockton, Ca
San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental_ Health
Division (PHS/EHD) has reviewed the "Soil Assessment Workplan"
dated December 23 , 1992 , submitted by Kleinfelder, Inc. and has
the following comments.
The one soil boring down the center of the former tank pit area
to approximately 35 feet below ground surface appears sufficient
to verify that the soil beneath the former tanks has not been
impacted by petroleum hydrocarbons.
Please be advised that if contamination is found to be present,
the full extent of the contaminant plume will need to be
determined.
Also be advised that the maximum amount of bentonite that can be
used in the proposed cement/bentonite slurry is 5 percent.
Permit #93-0027 has been issued (copy enclosed) so that the
proposed work can be scheduled as soon as possible. Please
provide 48 hours advance notice to this office prior to the
initiation of the work.
If you have any questions, please contact Linda Tuxkatte, RFHS,
of my staff at (209) 468-0339 .
Jogi Khan , M.D. , M.P.H.
Health 9tr cer ,
au ie A.
