Seven 1 gallon BAKER <br /> containers of paint abandoned by the water on the west side of Rio Blanco Road <br /> north of Eight Mile Road. Left for site and arrived at 1:28 pm. Eight 1 gallon <br /> containers were observed next to the water. One container was labeled as <br /> carburetor and parts washer and one was labeled as paint. Six containers were <br /> unlabeled but appeared to contain paint. Dried paint was observed dripping down <br /> sides. Called Dennis DeLuca (Superintendent) of the Reclamation District 2042 at <br /> 209-910-7787. Notified him of the abandoned containers. Dennis DeLuca was <br /> upset and said the county needs to close that road down. People are on <br /> motorcycles and are tearing the levy up. He said he would take the cans to the <br /> HHW. Discussed complaint with Elena Manzo (Lead Sr. REHS). <br /> 05/04/2021 Created complaint. Verified GIS in EC. Wrote abandoned waste on property BAKER <br /> letter. Completed photo log. <br /> 05/05/2021 Put copy of letter on shelf to be mailed to responsible party. BAKER <br /> Abated complaint as 01-Field Response & put on Garrett Backus' (Lead Sr. <br /> REHS) desk for review. <br /> 5105.rpt Page 1 of 1 <br />
