Waste Management ALANIZ <br /> reported a release of 3 gallons of coolant onto the street from Chaparral Ct to <br /> Lupine Ct in Lodi. The release happened at 6:00 AM and was caused by a split <br /> hose. <br /> Called Henry Fontes, Waste Management staff, 209-313-4817. He confirmed that <br /> no storm drains were impacted by the incident. The coolant was cleaned up using <br /> absorbent and taken to the yard at 1333 E Turner Rd Lodi, for storage until it can <br /> be disposed of. The waste was put into one 55 gallon drum and labeled as <br /> hazardous waste. <br /> Sent an email to Eric Mankins, <EMankins@wm.com>, and Henry Fontes, <br /> <hfontes@wm.com>, letting them know that we would follow up with the waste <br /> during the next inspection. <br /> Discussed complaint with Elena Manzo, lead senior, and it was determined that I <br /> would conduct a site visit. Called Henry and left a message letting him know I <br /> would be visiting the site. <br /> Left to the site with Melissa Nissim, program coordinator. <br /> Arrived at 3:15 p.m. Absorbent saturated with coolant was observed on the <br /> ground toward the end of Chaparral Ct. No saturated absorbent <br /> was observed on Lupine Ct and Sylvan Way. No storm drains were observed <br /> impacted. <br /> Called Henry and informed him that further cleanup was needed at Chaparral Ct. <br /> He said he would send someone to complete the cleanup on 3/3/2021. <br /> Left the site at 3:30 p.m. Created the complaint and prop 65 form. <br /> 03/03/2021 Completed the inspection report. Emailed photos taken and inspection report to ALANIZ <br /> Henry Fontes, <hfontes@wm.com>. <br /> Received a confirmation email from Henry. <br /> 03/04/2021 Received several email from Henry Fontes, <hfontes@wm.com>with photos of ALANIZ <br /> the clean up in the .heic format.
