Evaluation of Hydrocarbons May 17, 1990 <br /> Waterfront Redevelopment, Stockton, California AGS 39048-2W <br /> PROXIMITY TO WELLS AND UTILITIES <br /> i <br /> One municipal water-supply well is approximately 1,700 feet east of the Waterfront <br /> Redevelopment property. Information regarding the surface location of the municipal <br /> water-supply well was obtained from the City of Stockton Department of Public Works. <br /> The City of Stockton is the owner of the municipal well. The municipal water-supply well <br /> was drilled and installed in 1972. The location of this well is shown on Plate P-1. <br /> California Water Service is the other supplier of water in the area. Information provided <br /> by California Water Service indicates that the closest municipal water-supply well they <br /> maintain is approximately 5,000 feet southeast of the project site. <br /> In addition to the municipal water-supply well, six industrial wells are approximately 2,000 <br /> feet southwest of the project site. The wells are at Fiberboard Paper Company and were <br /> drilled in 1921 and 1954. The location of the industrial supply wells are shown on Plate P- <br /> 1. No other water-supply wells in the area are known to us.
