Work Plan for Environmental Investigation June 21, 1989 <br /> Waterfront Redevelopment, Stockton, California AGS 39048-1W <br /> sample with the highest OVM reading in each boring. <br /> Each sample collected will be promptly sealed with aluminum foil, <br /> plastic caps, and duct tape. The samples will be labeled and <br /> placed in iced storage for transport to the analytical laboratory <br /> for testing. Chain of Custody Records will be initiated by the <br /> geologist in the field and will accompany the samples to the <br /> laboratory. Copies of these records will be presented in our <br /> report. An example of a Chain of Custody Record is included in <br /> the Appendix to this Work Plan. <br /> Cuttings generated during drilling will be stockpiled onsite in <br /> segregated piles on plastic sheeting and will be covered with <br /> plastic. This soil will be segregated into stockpiles based on <br /> OVM readings. Disposal of the soil will remain the <br /> responsibility of the City of Stockton. Applied GeoSystems can <br /> arrange to have the soil treated, if necessary, or can remove the <br /> soil to an appropriate disposal facility with the City of <br /> Stockton' s authorization and at additional cost. <br /> 13 <br /> A,ov/ied GeoSystems <br />
