According to the SSNL, the estimated nitrate loading from existing and proposed OWTS usage is 13.74
mg/L as nitrate-nitrogen and the maximum contaminant level of 10 mg/L-N. EHD will require an
oversized 1,600-gallon septic tank for installation of a standard Onsite Wastewater Treatment System.
b. The OWTS and its 100% replacement areas shall meet all required minimum setbacks stated in San
Joaquin County (OWTS) Standard and Well Standard.
If you have any questions please contact Daria Afonskaia, Registered Environmental Health Specialist, at
dafonskaia@sjgov.org or (209) 616-3035.
Steven Shih, REHS
Program Coordinator
c: Robert Smith, PO Box 22748, Sacramento, CA 95822
1868 E.
