Appendix A:Previous Environmental Activities <br /> indicated that the site does not pose a health risk to future residents.28 Central Valley <br /> RWQCB granted NFAR status on October 26, 2012. <br /> • CPS (formerly Western Farm Service): CPS is located at the northwest corner of the <br /> intersection of Highway 33 and Welty Road. CPS has stored and distributed bulk liquid <br /> and dry fertilizers on its facility since 1969. Records indicate this site contained a <br /> 10,000-gallon diesel UST,and 5,000-gallon and 10,000-gallon gasoline USTs. The <br /> USTs were removed in 1987, and their approximate locations are shown on Figure 2 of <br /> the main report. Wells were installed at the CPS facility to monitor concentrations of <br /> agricultural chemicals in groundwater, and from 2005 to 2007 SAIC collected samples <br /> from WFSMW-1 for analysis of the COPCs. <br /> • Former Union Oil Service Station: A service station operated from 1972 to the mid <br /> 1980s at the northeast corner of the intersection of Highway 33 and Welty Road. <br /> Historical records are not available for this site; therefore, the location and status of the <br /> service station USTs are unknown. <br /> 28.SAIC-Benham,2010.
