This well has not previously been found to be impacted. The compounds are: <br /> Benzene: 0.63 ppb <br /> Toluene: 0.92 ppb <br /> These values are based on confirmation retest of 2/25/2009. They were also found in similar <br /> concentrations in the first quarterly test of 1/21/2009. <br /> According to our consultants at Shaw Environmental and Infrastructure, these compounds are usually <br /> associated with impact by gasoline. Because this landfill ceased receiving refuse in 1991, it is unclear <br /> why these compounds are detected at this time.
