1.3 WELL LOCATION <br /> The four new dual LFG extraction wells will be installed within the footprint <br /> of the landfill. Dual LFG extraction wells B-9 and C-13 will be installed near <br /> the western corner of the primary site (Figure 2). Dual LFG extraction wells <br /> H-15 and H-16 will be installed near the southwestern corner of the <br /> secondary site. Well locations may be adjusted due to site conditions. <br /> 2.0 EXECUTION <br /> 2.1 PERMITS <br /> Solid Waste Division (SWD) will obtain drilling permits from San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department (EHD). <br /> 2.2 INSPECTION <br /> SWD's contractor, on behalf of SW, will notify EHD Unit 6 lead inspector at <br /> least two (2) working days in advance for the first inspection. Consecutive <br /> required inspections for the project will be then be scheduled with EHD's <br /> inspector with a minimum of 24-hour notice. SWD's contractor will <br /> coordinate all inspections within EHD's inspection time from 9.00am to <br /> 4.00pm. <br /> Inspection notification will be made to EHD for the following work: <br /> • Well Installation <br /> • Abandoned boring backfill. <br /> 2.3 DRILLING <br /> The wells will be drilled by a licensed drilling Contractor. Depths of the new <br /> dual LFG extraction wells are above seasonal ground water table <br /> (Figure 5). The drill cuttings while drilling will mostly be refuse. Refuse and <br /> soil with refuse drilled out will be placed in a dumpster bin and then <br /> disposed off-site.
