PART 2 PRODUCTS <br /> 2.01 GENERAL <br /> All materials shall be new and free of defects. <br /> 2.02 BENTONITE PLUG <br /> Bentonite shall be premium grade sodium bentonite clay, #8 mesh <br /> granules, Benseal, or approved equivalent. Bentonite seal shall be free of <br /> impurities which adversely impact the water quality. <br /> 2.03 DRAIN ROCK <br /> The drain rock shall be 2-inch x 4-inch in size. <br /> 2.04 VALVE BOX <br /> The valve box shall be Carson L Series 24 —Vault, Light Duty Model <br /> #2424-18 with cover Model #2424-3B or approved equal. Valve box lid <br /> shall be labeled with the well number with yellow oil-based paint. The label <br /> lettering shall be four inches high. <br /> 2.05 VALVE TAGS <br /> Valve label tags will be provided by the Engineer. The Contractor shall <br /> install the tags on the gate valves and label the valve tags with the well <br /> number. <br /> 2.06 STOPCOCK VALVE <br /> Stopcock Valve shall be %" diameter provided with hose barb X male pipe <br /> thread fittings, comprised of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and shall be <br /> Harrington Industrial Plastics, Hayward Industrial Products, part number <br /> LC12, or equivalent. <br /> 2.07 WELL SKIRT <br /> The well skirt shall be Landtec WBS-100-4 or equivalent.
