1.3 WELL LOCATION The four new dual LFG extraction wells will be installed within the footprint of the landfill. Dual LFG extraction wells B-9 and C-13 will be installed near the western corner of the primary site (Figure 2). Dual LFG extraction wells H-15 and H-16 will be installed near the southwestern corner of the secondary site. Well locations may be adjusted due to site conditions. 2.0 EXECUTION 2.1 PERMITS Solid Waste Division (SWD) will obtain drilling permits from San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD). 2.2 INSPECTION SWD's contractor, on behalf of SW, will notify EHD Unit 6 inspector(s) at least two (2) working days in advance for the first inspection. Consecutive required inspections for the project will be then be scheduled with EHD's inspector with a minimum of 24-hour notice. SWD's contractor will coordinate all inspections within EHD's inspection time from 9.00am to 4.00pm. Inspection notification will be made to EHD for the following work: • Placement of neat cement in the well bore hole for all wells. • Soil backfill in the first dual LFG extraction well to be constructed. Soil backfill in other dual LFG extraction wells will be placed based on the procedure observed by EHD, and not necessarily in the presence of EHD. SWD's Contractor will, at all times, allow inspection by EHD staff, with the purpose of EHD to verify that construction is according to the project's plans and specification. • Placement of neat cement in abandoned borings. • Soil backfill in the first abandoned boring.
