The following drums were <br />observed with incomplete labeling: -55 gallon black steel drum of <br />waste absorbent with no hazardous properties and no accumulation start <br />date -55 gallon black steel drum of used oil with only the contents <br />labeled -55 gallon blue poly drum of oily water with no label -55 <br />gallon blue steel drum with oily sludge with no label . All hazardous <br />waste containers shall be marked with the following information: - the <br />words G Hazardous WasteG - name and address of generator - hazardous <br />properties (ignitable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) - physical state <br />(liquid, solid) - composition (contents) - accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste <br />containers are marked with all the required information. A 55 gallon black steel drum <br />which previously held used antifreeze and a 55 gallon blue steel drum <br />which previously held oil were observed without empty labeling. <br />Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous <br />material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed <br />within one year of being emptied.
