The manifest signed at the time the waste was accepted <br />for transport shall be kept until receiving a signed copy from the <br />designated facility which received the waste. <br />Violation Notes: <br />Returned to compliance on 08/05/2020. OBSERVATION: Designated facility <br />signed and dated copies of Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests (UHWM) <br />were not found on-site. The missing manifests are:-018526820JJK <br />(5/21/2019)-020383188JJK (7/25/2019) REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous <br />waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in <br />accordance with section 66262.23(a) for three years or until the <br />generator receives a signed copy from the designated facility which <br />received the waste. This signed copy shall be retained as a record for <br />at least three years from the date the waste was accepted by the <br />initial transporter. The hazardous waste generator must submit an <br />exception report to the California Department of Toxic Substances <br />Control (DTSC) within 45 days if the destination facility signed <br />manifest copy is not received from the transporter or designated <br />facility. Oily staining was observed under <br />the pressure washer and by the concrete vault in the wash rack area. <br />Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the <br />possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to <br />air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the <br />environment. Immediately clean all stained soil and manage according <br />to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations.
