We have reviewed the
29 June 2005 comments to the Monitoring and Reporting Program submitted by Electronic Mail (Email)
on your behalf by Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE). The Email provides the following two
comments on the draft monitoring and reporting program (MRP):
1) Wells OW-1 and OW-2 were renumbered by AGE as Monitoring Wells MW-16 and MW-17;
and
2) "The (new) wells will be added(to) the MRP when developed/and sampled. " New monitoring
wells are currently under construction.
Our responses to your comments correspond to the order of the comments presented above:
1) We have revised the Final MRP to delete the reference to OW-1 and OW-2 from the Sampling
Frequency table, since MW-16 and MW-17 are their current designations.
2) The Sampling Frequency table includes a requirement for adding "new wells"to the MRP, so the
MRP does not require periodic updates to list new wells.
If you have any questions, you may contact James Barton at(916)464-4615.
ROBERT BUSBY, C.E.
Senior Engineering Geologist
UST Enforcement Unit II
Enclosures
cc: Mr. Mark Owens, State Water Resources Control Board, laboratory UST Cleanup Fund, Sacramento
Mr. Michael Infurna, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Services, Stockton
Ms. Karna Herringfeld, Herum Crabtree Brown, 2291 W.
