02 November 2007
AGE-NC Project No.06-1481
TPH-g-range hydrocarbons were detected in grab ground water sample Bl-W at a concentration of
3,700 micrograms per liter (1.1g/1) utilizing EPA Method 8015M. The volatile organic compounds
isopropylbenzene, propylbenzene, butylbenezene, and naphthalane were detected in sample Bl-W
utilizing EPA Method 8260 at concentrations of 121.1g/1, 12 µg/1, 3.2 [tg/1 and 11µg/1, respectively.
No other COC were detected in the analyzed soil or grab ground water samples. The analytical
results are summarized in Table 1. A copy of the laboratory report (CTEL Project No. CT214-
0707201) is included in Appendix A.
LIMITATIONS
AGE' s professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised
by environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based
primarily upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory. Evaluations of the
geologic/hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation were made from
a limited number of available data points (i.e., soil borings, soil samples and ground water samples)
and subsurface conditions may vary beyond these data points. No other warranty, expressed or
implied, is made as to the professional recommendations contained in this report.
The opportunity to provide this service is greatly appreciated.
