AMENDED MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM ORDER NO R5-2015-0012-044
2
TRANSMISSION STORE
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
1 Well numbers as shown on attached site plans.
2 i.e., weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, other.
3 Constituent suite components listed in Table 2.
4 Wells used to determine compliance with water groundwater limitations.
5 Wells sampled to evaluate migration of pollutants within the treatment zone.
6 Well used to develop background concentrations and track pilot remedial progress.
7 To be sampled before and after, and/or bi-weekly, during the pilot study as indicated; then semi-annually in
accordance with current established monitoring and reporting programs.
Table 2: Analytical Methods
Constituent Methodl
Maximum Practical
Quantitation Limit
(ug/L)2
Frequency
SUITE A
TPHg GC/MS 50 Five times3
BTEX, MTBE, TBA, ETBE,
TAME, DIPE, EDB, 1,2-
DCA, ethanol
EPA 8260B Various Five times3
METALS
Metals, dissolve& EPA 6010B Various Five times3
Total Chromium EPA 200.7, 200.8 10 Five times3
Hexavalent Chromium EPA 7199 2 Five times3
Bromide EPA 300.0 100 Five times3
Bromate EPA 300.1 10 Five times3
1 Or an equivalent EPA Method that achieves the maximum Practical Quantitation Limit.
2 All concentrations between the Method Detection Limit and the Practical Quantitation Limit shall be reported as an estimated
value.
3 Will be sampled five times: one baseline sample prior to remediation, three bi-weekly progress sampling events and one post
pilot test sampling event two week following the final progress sampling event.
4 Metals include: arsenic, barium cadmium, calcium, total chromium, copper, iron, lead, magnesium, manganese, mercury,
molybdenum, and nickel.
FIELD SAMPLING
2. In addition to the above sampling and laboratory analyses, field sampling and analysis
shall be conducted each time a monitor well or extraction well is sampled. The sampling
and analysis of field parameters shall be as specified in Table 3.
Table 3: Field Sampling Requirements
Parameters Units Type of Sample
Groundwater Elevation ft above MSL Measurement
Water Temperature °C Grab or in-situ
Electrical Conductivity mS/cm Grab or in-situ
Dissolved Oxygen mg/L In-situ
pH pH Units (to 0.1) Grab or in-situ
Oxygen Reducing Potential mV Grab or in-situ
ft=feet; MSL=mean sea level. °C=degrees Celsius; mg/L=milligrams per liter; mV=mil ivo ts
