Site Health and Safety Plan <br />Countryside Market, Stockton, California March 21, 2014 <br />1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />The Source Group, Inc., a division of Apex Companies, LLC (Apex-SGI) has prepared this Site <br />Health and Safety Plan (HASP; the "Plan") on behalf of the Property Owner. This HASP <br />addresses site safety issues associated with planned activities at the Former Countryside Market <br />located at 10848 Copperopolis Road in Stockton, California (the Site, Figure 1). The Site activities <br />are to be performed by Apex-SGI personnel and its subcontractors. In this HASP, the term <br />"subcontractors" refers to subcontractors under contract with Apex-SGI. This Site HASP has been <br />developed for the use of Apex-SGI personnel and its subcontractors, and is specific to the tasks <br />being conducted by Apex-SGI, <br /> <br />1.1 Purpose <br />The primary purpose of this HASP is to provide Apex-SGI and subcontractor personnel with an <br />understanding of the potential physical and chemical hazards that exist or may arise during Site <br />activities. Additionally, the information contained herein will define the safety precautions <br />necessary to respond to such hazards should they occur. <br /> <br />1.2 Objective <br />The primary objective is to ensure the well being of all field personnel and the community <br />surrounding the Site. In order to accomplish this, project staff and approved subcontractors shall <br />acknowledge and adhere to the policies and procedures established herein. <br /> <br />1.3 Project Description and Scope of Work <br />Field activities to be conducted at the Site are designed to investigate and delineate petroleum <br />hydrocarbon contamination on- and off-Site.
