Site Health and Safety Plan <br />Countryside Market, Stockton, California March 21, 2014 <br />6.1.2 Decontamination of Respirators <br />After respirator use, the following steps should be used to clean your respirator: <br />Wash with Alconox ® solution and brush gently. (This step will remove any soil/solid <br />particulate matter that may have been collected on the respirator during field activities.) <br />Rinse with distilled/de-ionized water, making sure the inhalation and exhalation valves are <br />clean and unobstructed. <br />Rinse with distilled/de-ionized water. <br />Wipe with sanitizing solution. (This step will assure the sterility of the respirator.) <br />Allow your respirator to air dry. <br />Place the respirator inside a sealed bag or a clean area away from extreme heat or <br />extreme cold. <br />6.2 Air Monitoring <br />Calibration and periodic maintenance will be required for air monitoring equipment.
