Therefore, the well must be replaced to <br />investigate and monitor the ground water contamination in that direction. <br />The WP to be submitted immediately for further investigation should include a <br />proposal to destroy MW#8 and install new monitoring wells with screened <br />intervals the same as those provided in MW#8 and in that same direction from <br />your site. Please be advised that wells placed in areas of contamination must be <br />destroyed by drilling out the well casing and filter pack and grouting the boring <br />from total depth to surface.
