SITE IMPROVEMENT PLAN <br />SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br />1810 EAST HAZELTON AVENUE, STOCKTON, CA 95205 <br />TELEPHONE: (209) 468-3120 <br />BUSINESS HOURS: 8.00 a.m. to 12 noon & 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. <br />Monde throU h Fnidayl <br />: PROCESSING STEPS - <br />• <br />STEP 1 CHECK WITH STAFF - Development Services Staff will explain the requirements and procedures to you. <br />STEP 2 SUBMIT YOUR SITE IMPROVEMENT PLAN. when you submit, file all of the following,: <br />• FEE Th. staff will at you know this current co•I of filing a Site Improvement Plan. Make <br />chicks payable to Me San Joaquin County Treasurer. <br />• FORM One (1) copy of the completed information forme (attached) which all owners mutt shun. <br />• IMPROVEMENT One (1) copy of a Site Improvement Plan, 2l" 036' (see attached checklist and eainpla). <br />PLAN This is an engineered plan showing drainage, grading, access, an- and off.site service <br />and utility reciting's, landacaping, circulation/parking details. etc. <br />• HAZARDOUS <br />MATERIALS <br />One copy of a completed Hazardoua Materials Disclosure Survey form (the fern, is <br />attached). <br />• SERVICES If your project requires connection to public facilities , you must submit Noll-serve" <br />letters front the appropriate water, tiewar and drainage entitles at the time of filing. <br />These letters must include a statement from the agencies that they will serve the <br />propoeed development and have, or will have, the capacity to provide such service. <br />• PLAN COMPLETE Staff will check your Site Improvement Plan. If anything is winning, you will be notified. <br />(You/plan cannot be processed until il ls complete.) <br />, <br />• REVIEW AND <br />ACTION <br />Staff will route the Site Improvement Plan to any County departmenta, and other <br />agencies, affected by your proposal. At the end of a review period the staff will approve <br />your Site Improvement Plan if the plan conforms to all adopted ordinances and standards. <br />If the plan needs WOe modified, you will be so informed. <br />• FINAL ACTION The action of the staff is final. <br />STEP 4 REQUIREMENTS AND ADDITIONAL PERMITS <br />• REQUIREMENTS The staff will advise you of the /Mai action and list requirements, by department, that <br />rcult be net before you can start your project. <br />• ENCROACHMENT <br />PERM:TS <br />Encroachment Permits must be acquired from the Public Works Department for any Work <br />performed within the County road right of way, if the protect front, on a state highway <br />these permits .ril obtained from Caltrens. <br />• SANITATION & <br />WELL PERMITS <br />Projects that will utiliz• new on-site sanitation disposal and/or amulie wells, most get <br />permits from the Environmental Health Division. <br />• BUSINESS <br />LICENSES <br />If th• project involves a business.. Business Licens• must be approved prior to stoning <br />operation. Business License applications can be processed concurrently with the Site <br />Improvement Plan. <br />• BilILDING <br />PERMITS <br />if the project involves building or grading relined constroCtiOn, a building permit most be <br />approved prior to commencement of work. <br />• OTHER PERMITS Frequently other local, state and/or federal agencies will require permits prior to new <br />uses being established (e.g. Air Pollution Control Dial/ ict, Regional Water Quality Centro/ <br />Board or th• Sheriffs OtRce).
